About This Trail
This is arguably the quintessential Red River Gorge experience. The trail follows a narrow ridge with cliffs dropping away on both sides, offering views that seem to stretch forever. Courthouse Rock, a massive sandstone pillar separated from the main cliff, is a highlight. Double Arch is also visible from this trail. The exposed ridge can be treacherous in wet or icy conditions.
Getting There
From Slade, KY, take KY-15 east to KY-77. Turn left and continue to Tunnel Ridge Road. The trailhead is at the Auxier Ridge parking area.
