Barataria Preserve Marsh Overlook Trail

This brief trail leads to an elevated platform overlooking the expansive marshes of Barataria Preserve. The vista encompasses acres of waving marsh grass, open water pools, and the wildlife that thrives in this productive coastal habitat. Alligators are frequently spotted from the overlook, and birding is excellent year-round with peak diversity during migration seasons.
