About This Trail

An easy walk to an elevated observation platform overlooking the tidal marshes and estuaries of Barn Island Wildlife Management Area. The tower provides panoramic views of salt marsh, migrating waterfowl, and the Stonington coastline.

Getting There

From Stonington, CT, take Route 1 east to Barn Island Road. Turn south onto Barn Island Road and continue to the Barn Island Wildlife Management Area parking lot at the end of the road. The observation tower trail begins at the lot.
