Bayou Sauvage Wetland Trail

Continuing past the developed boardwalk section, this trail ventures deeper into Bayou Sauvage’s wetland habitats where the wild character intensifies. Wading birds become more common, and the likelihood of wildlife encounters increases as the city sounds fade behind. The trail requires more attention to footing as conditions become less developed.
