About This Trail
Hikers are led along the scenic Bear Creek. The trail fords the creek at several points, so you may want to bring some water shoes.
About a mile into the hike you will come to the famed Gennett Poplar, a massive tree with a circumference of about 18 feet at eye level. It seems out of place among the other trees along the trail.
The trail is popular with mountain bikers, so be on alert.
