About This Trail
Big Shoals State Park contains Florida’s largest whitewater rapids, where the Suwannee River drops over limestone shelves. The trail leads along bluffs above the river with excellent views of the rapids. The forest includes rare longleaf pine and wiregrass communities.
Getting There
From White Springs, FL, take US-41 north. Turn right onto Big Shoals Road and continue to the park entrance.
