About This Trail
This popular segment of the Black Creek Trail follows Mississippi’s Wild and Scenic River through some of its most scenic reaches. White sandbars provide perfect camping spots and swimming beaches, while the clear tannic water supports diverse aquatic life. This section offers an excellent taste of the longer trail for those with limited time.
Getting There
From Wiggins, take MS-29 south approximately 15 miles to Fairley Bridge Landing. The segment continues downstream to Big Creek Landing, requiring a shuttle or out-and-back hiking.
