About This Trail
A gentle 4-mile loop encircling Ponkapoag Pond in the Blue Hills Reservation, passing through mixed forest, wetland edges, and Fisherman’s Beach. A highlight is the boardwalk crossing the pond’s bog, home to carnivorous sundew plants and diverse birdlife just minutes from Boston.
