About This Trail
Brasstown Bald at 4,784 feet is Georgia's highest point. The summit trail climbs through spruce-fir forest to an observation tower with 360-degree views of Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina on clear days. The visitor center provides interpretive exhibits.
Getting There
From Blairsville, GA, take US-19/129 south to GA-180. Turn east and continue to the Brasstown Bald parking area.
