About This Trail

A 6.5-mile blue-blazed segment of Ohio’s statewide Buckeye Trail winding through deep Hocking Hills forest and sandstone ravines. The rolling route traverses hemlock-shaded hollows and ridge crests, connecting to both the North Country Scenic Trail and America’s Discovery Trail systems.

Getting There

From Logan, take SR-664 south to Old Man's Cave at Hocking Hills State Park on SR-374. The Buckeye Trail segment connects Old Man's Cave to Cedar Falls and Ash Cave along the marked 6-mile Grandma Gatewood Trail.
