About This Trail
This short but rewarding trail leads to Butterfly Falls, a beautiful cascade tumbling into a swimming hole perfect for cooling off on summer days. The trail winds through lush forest along Lee Creek before climbing gently to the falls, which are especially impressive after rainfall. The deep pool at the base invites wading and swimming, making this a favorite destination for families. Connecting trails allow hikers to extend their adventure into the broader Devil’s Den trail network.
Getting There
From Devil's Den State Park visitor center, take the main park road north toward the campground. Turn left at the signed Butterfly Falls trailhead parking area, located approximately 0.5 miles past the visitor center.
