About This Trail
This extension continues from the main Sugar Cane Trail along additional shoreline of Caney Lake, passing through meadows that bloom with wildflowers from spring through fall. The easy, level path adds distance for those wanting a longer walk while maintaining the relaxed, scenic character of the main trail.
Getting There
Begin at the Sugar Cane Trail trailhead and hike the main loop. The extension branches off at the northern end of the loop, marked with a sign indicating additional mileage.
