About This Trail
Catawba Falls is a stunning series of cascades on the Catawba River, with the main falls dropping approximately 100 feet over multiple tiers. The trail follows an old roadbed along the river, crossing several footbridges before reaching the falls.
Getting There
From Old Fort, NC, take I-40 east to Exit 73. Turn right onto Catawba River Road and continue for about 3 miles to the trailhead parking area.
