About This Trail

An easy loop through a stand of towering white pines and hemlocks in Cornwall, once among the finest old-growth groves in New England before a 1989 tornado. Regenerating forest and surviving giants create a cathedral-like atmosphere along a gentle path with stream-side sections.

Getting There

From Cornwall, take Route 4 east to Route 125 (Cornwall Road). Turn right and proceed south; the Cathedral Pines trailhead parking is a small lot marked with a boulder on the left side of the road.
