Chicot State Park Nature Trail

This gentle interpretive trail introduces visitors to the diverse habitats of Chicot State Park through informative signs identifying trees, plants, and wildlife. The short, well-maintained path is ideal for families with young children and provides an excellent introduction to Louisiana’s central hardwood forests. Benches along the route offer rest stops and wildlife observation points.
