About This Trail

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary protects one of the largest remaining old-growth bald cypress forests in North America. The 2.25-mile boardwalk winds through various habitats including the ancient cypress swamp where trees reach 500 years old and 130 feet tall.

Getting There

From Naples, FL, take I-75 to Exit 111 (Immokalee Road). Head east for about 15 miles to the sanctuary entrance.
