Crowder Branch Trail

Crowder Branch Trail climbs from Citico Creek into the heart of the Citico Creek Wilderness, following the small Crowder Branch through diverse forest. The trail gains elevation steadily, transitioning from streamside cove forest to drier ridgetop communities. This connector trail provides access to the wilderness interior and links with other trails for extended exploration. The remote nature of this trail ensures solitude, and the varied habitats support diverse wildlife. Spring wildflowers are abundant in the lower sections, while fall brings spectacular foliage throughout the forest.
