About This Trail
Loop through the grounds of William Gillette’s medieval-style castle perched 200 feet above the Connecticut River in East Haddam. Trails follow a former narrow-gauge railroad with stone-arch bridges, a 75-foot tunnel, and dramatic river overlooks across the valley.
