About This Trail
On the southern end of New River Gorge National Park, Grandview lives up to its name with sweeping views of the horseshoe bend in the New River, 1,400 feet below. The rim trail connects several overlooks through tunnels of rhododendron that bloom spectacularly in late May and early June. This is one of the most scenic and accessible areas of the park.
Getting There
From Beckley, WV, take I-64 east to Exit 129B (Grandview). Follow signs to the Grandview visitor area.
