About This Trail

Stretching 78 miles on a crushed-limestone rail bed through the Greenbrier Valley, this Millennium Legacy Trail crosses 35 bridges and passes through two tunnels. Virtually flat at a 1% grade, it accommodates hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and horseback riding through small mountain towns.

Getting There

From Marlinton, the Greenbrier River Trail can be accessed at Stillwell Park via County Route 39/2, about 1.5 miles from WV-29. The 78-mile rail trail follows the Greenbrier River through Pocahontas and Greenbrier counties.
