About This Trail

Running 1.7 miles along the former C&G Railroad right-of-way in downtown Greenwood, this smooth asphalt trail features trailside lighting, fitness stations, and a permanent pavilion hosting weekly farmers’ markets. Tidy landscaping and benches make it a welcoming urban corridor in the Mississippi Delta.

Getting There

From downtown Greenwood, head to Johnson Street between Lamar Street and the Highway 82 Bypass. The Rail Spike Park paved trail stretches 1.5 miles along the old railroad right-of-way with angle parking along Johnson Street.
