About This Trail
Blue-blazed trails wind through over 20 miles of wooded terrain in the Hereford section of Gunpowder Falls State Park, following stretches of the Gunpowder River with rolling hills and small stream crossings. Hikers can choose loops ranging from 3.7 to 7.5 miles through deciduous forest north of Baltimore. Paths along the river can be muddy after rain.
