About This Trail
A 3.6-mile round-trip gaining 1,500 feet in the southern Adirondacks to a restored 1917 fire tower with views of Great Sacandaga Lake, the High Peaks, and on clear days, Vermont’s Green Mountains. The final half-mile crosses open rock with panoramas before the summit. Popular for both hiking and winter snowshoeing.
