About This Trail
Humpback Rocks offers one of the most accessible and rewarding viewpoints along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The trail climbs steeply through a forest of oak and hickory before reaching massive greenstone boulders at the summit with 360-degree views.
Getting There
From Charlottesville, VA, take I-64 west to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Head south on the Parkway to milepost 6. The trailhead is at the Humpback Gap Parking Area.
