Judy Toups Trail

Named for a beloved local naturalist, the Judy Toups Trail in Ward Bayou Wildlife Management Area introduces visitors to the diverse plant communities of Mississippi’s coastal plain. The short, easy path passes through upland pine savannas, wet flatwoods, and bayou edges, each supporting distinctive flora. Interpretive features explain the ecology, while the excellent birding attracts naturalists from across the region.
