About This Trail
Juniper Springs features a historic swimming area built by the CCC in the 1930s. The Juniper Springs Nature Trail explores the lush subtropical forest surrounding the spring. The 7-mile Juniper Run canoe trail is one of Florida’s most scenic paddle trips.
Getting There
From Ocala, FL, take SR-40 east into the Ocala National Forest. Juniper Springs Recreation Area is on the right.
