About This Trail
King’s Bluff Loop complements nearby Pedestal Rocks with its own dramatic scenery, including a towering bluff overlook and seasonal waterfall. The trail passes through mature hardwood forest before emerging at the King’s Bluff viewpoint, where hikers gaze across a vast expanse of Ozark wilderness. The waterfall flows best in spring and after rain, creating a misty cascade over the bluff face. Combined with Pedestal Rocks, this area offers a full day of exceptional Ozark hiking.
Getting There
From the Pedestal Rocks Scenic Area parking lot, the King's Bluff Loop shares the same trailhead. Follow signs at the trail junction to access the King's Bluff Loop, which can be hiked separately or combined with Pedestal Rocks.
