Kings Mountain National Military Park Trail

Kings Mountain National Military Park preserves the site of a pivotal Revolutionary War battle where Patriot militia defeated Loyalist forces in October 1780, turning the tide of the war in the South. The trail system loops through the forested battlefield, passing monuments, interpretive waysides, and the terrain features that shaped the engagement. The moderate hike provides both historical education and pleasant forest walking through diverse Piedmont habitats.
