A strenuous 10.5-mile Knobstone segment from Spurgeon Hollow trailhead through the rugged knobs of Jackson-Washington State Forest. The trail climbs steep, flat-topped ridges typical of the Knobstone Escarpment, with sustained elevation changes and remote backcountry camping opportunities.
