About This Trail
Little River Canyon is one of the deepest canyons east of the Mississippi River. The rim trail follows the edge of the canyon with numerous overlooks providing stunning views of the river 600 feet below. Little River Falls near the canyon mouth is a spectacular 45-foot waterfall.
Getting There
From Fort Payne, AL, take AL-35 east to Little River Canyon National Preserve. The Canyon Rim Drive provides access to multiple trailheads.
