About This Trail

Long Branch Loop Trail provides an accessible introduction to north Georgia’s Aska Adventure Area, following a tumbling mountain creek through shaded hardwood forest. The gentle grades and well-maintained path make this ideal for families with children or hikers seeking a relaxed woodland walk. The creek provides a pleasant soundtrack throughout the hike, with small cascades and pools that delight young explorers. Wildflowers bloom along the trail in spring, while autumn brings spectacular color to the diverse canopy. The loop’s modest length allows time to explore other trails in the Aska system for those wanting more adventure.
