About This Trail

Lost Valley is one of the Buffalo National River’s most magical destinations, packing waterfalls, a massive bluff shelter cave, and fascinating rock formations into an easy walk suitable for all ages. The trail follows Clark Creek past small cascades to the spectacular Eden Cave, where Eden Falls plunges into a cool, shadowy grotto. Adventurous visitors can scramble into the cave to see the waterfall from inside. Spring wildflowers blanket the valley floor, while autumn brings golden colors to the overhanging bluffs.
