About This Trail
This section of the 59-mile Loyalsock Trail climbs to High Knob Overlook at 1,750 feet, one of Sullivan County’s premier vistas with sweeping views of the Loyalsock Creek watershed and surrounding ridges. The rugged trail follows old logging roads and steep ridgelines through the Endless Mountains. Rocky footing and sustained climbs reflect the Loyalsock Trail’s reputation as one of Pennsylvania’s toughest long-distance paths.
