About This Trail

One of New Hampshire’s most popular hikes, ascending 1.5 miles to the 1,785-foot summit for spectacular panoramic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the southern White Mountains. The remains of Mr. Phippen’s stone hut from 1925 provide shelter on the windy summit, a favorite for families and dogs.
