About This Trail

A classic 4,000-footer route ascending 2,200 feet in about 2.5 miles to the 4,003-foot summit near Waterville Valley ski area. Though the shortest of the NH 48 4,000-footers by distance, the relentless grade keeps it honest, with limited but satisfying views near the top.

Getting There

From I-93, take Exit 28 for Route 49 east. Follow Route 49 for 10.4 miles, then turn left onto Tripoli Road. After 1.2 miles, turn left onto the Waterville Valley Ski Area access road and continue to parking lot 1.
