About This Trail

A short walk through a dramatic marble gorge in North Adams where water has carved a natural bridge from 550-million-year-old white marble. The only naturally formed marble bridge in North America sits within a narrow chasm with interpretive displays explaining its glacial origins.

Getting There

From North Adams, take Route 8 north and turn onto McCauley Road. The entrance to Natural Bridge State Park is on your left. The park is open mid-May through mid-October with free parking.
