About This Trail
Natural Bridge is a 78-foot sandstone arch rising 65 feet above the forest floor in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge region. You can reach it via the Original Trail, a steep but rewarding 0.75-mile climb, or take the skylift for an easier approach. The views from atop the bridge stretch across miles of forested ridges, and the surrounding park offers additional trails through the unique gorge landscape.
Getting There
From Slade, KY, take KY-11 south to Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Follow signs to the trailhead or skylift.
