Pedestal Rocks Trail

Pedestal Rocks Scenic Area preserves some of the Ozarks’ most impressive sandstone formations, where erosion has carved massive pedestals supporting boulder caps that seem ready to topple. The loop trail winds past these geological wonders and along dramatic bluff lines offering valley views extending to distant ridges. Spring brings carpets of wildflowers, while autumn paints the surrounding forest in brilliant colors. This relatively short hike packs in remarkable scenery and excellent photography opportunities.
