About This Trail
The Pine Mountain Trail is a 23-mile linear trail considered Georgia's toughest. The trail traverses the ridges of Pine Mountain with rocky terrain, scenic overlooks, and diverse plant communities. FDR State Park was a favorite retreat of President Roosevelt.
Getting There
From Pine Mountain, GA, take US-27 to FDR State Park. Multiple trailheads provide access along the Pine Mountain Trail.
