About This Trail
Piney Falls drops 80 feet over a sheer cliff into a deep pool surrounded by towering sandstone walls. The trail descends steeply into Piney Creek Gulf, one of the most scenic areas on the Cumberland Plateau. Swimming is excellent on warm days.
Getting There
From Spring City, TN, take TN-68 west. Turn right onto Shut-In Gap Road and continue to Piney Falls Road. The trailhead is at the end of the road.
