About This Trail
Rainbow Springs State Park protects one of Florida’s most beautiful first-magnitude springs, producing 400 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily. The Sandhill Nature Trail explores Florida’s unique sandhill ecosystem, while other trails follow the crystal-clear Rainbow River upstream. In winter, manatees gather in the warm spring waters, and the park’s gardens and waterfalls add to the natural beauty.
Getting There
From Dunnellon, FL, take US-41 north for 3 miles. The park entrance is on the left.
