About This Trail
Rickwood Caverns State Park offers both cave tours and hiking trails. The nature trail winds through diverse forest habitats with interpretive signs explaining the geology and ecology of the region. The caverns feature 260-million-year-old limestone formations.
Getting There
From Birmingham, AL, take I-65 north to Exit 284. Follow signs to Rickwood Caverns State Park.
