About This Trail

A 2.1-mile rim trail along Clifton Gorge, a National Natural Landmark where the Little Miami Scenic River carved a dramatic dolomite and limestone gorge. The 268-acre preserve protects a 2-mile stretch of exposed cliff faces with rushing whitewater below, and connects directly to John Bryan State Park trails.

Getting There

From Yellow Springs, take OH-343 east about 0.25 miles past Clifton. Park at the lot off Route 343 near the information kiosk at Bears Den. The Rim Trail follows the gorge from this point.
