About This Trail

Seven Hollows showcases Petit Jean’s remarkable geology through a rugged loop past sandstone formations sculpted over millions of years. Highlights include a graceful natural bridge spanning a ravine, the famous Turtle Rocks that really do resemble giant turtles, and numerous small caves and overhangs begging for exploration. The trail dips in and out of seven distinct hollows, each with its own character and seasonal waterfalls. This is the best trail in the park for those fascinated by geological wonders.
