Signal Hill Trail

Signal Hill Trail leads to the summit of Mount Magazine, the highest point in Arkansas at 2,753 feet above sea level. Though the hike is short, the reward is immense: panoramic views stretch across the Arkansas River Valley to distant ridges fading into blue haze. A stone observation platform and interpretive displays mark the summit, where hikers can study the lay of the land spread below. The trail passes through unique high-elevation habitat supporting rare plants found nowhere else in the state.
