Silver Glen Springs produces 65 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily, creating excellent swimming and snorkeling. The area contains significant archaeological sites including a massive shell midden from Native American habitation.

From Salt Springs, FL, take SR-19 south into the Ocala National Forest. Follow signs to Silver Glen Springs Recreation Area.
