About This Trail
Sliding Rock is a natural waterslide where 11,000 gallons of water per minute cascade down a 60-foot sloping rock face into an 8-foot deep pool. This popular summer destination allows visitors to slide down the smooth rock into refreshing mountain water.
Getting There
From Brevard, NC, take US-276 north toward the Blue Ridge Parkway. Sliding Rock is located about 8 miles north of Brevard, with a large parking area on the right.
