About This Trail
A moderate climb to the fire tower atop 1,075-foot Soapstone Mountain on the Shenipsit Trail in Somers. The tower offers panoramic views across northern Connecticut into Massachusetts, making this one of the best viewpoints in the northeastern part of the state.
