About This Trail
The Priest is a 4,063-foot peak along the Religious Range of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The trail gains over 3,000 feet in elevation, making it one of the most challenging day hikes in Virginia. The summit offers excellent views of the Tye River Valley.
Getting There
From Lovingston, VA, take VA-56 west toward Crabtree Falls. The Priest trailhead parking is on the left before reaching Crabtree Falls.
