About This Trail
This more challenging loop explores some of Tishomingo State Park’s most impressive scenery, including a waterfall and the massive boulder formations that make this area unique in Mississippi. The terrain requires some scrambling and attention to footing, but the geological wonders make the effort worthwhile. This is the best trail for experiencing Tishomingo’s remarkable landscape.
Getting There
From the Tishomingo State Park lodge, follow signs to the Bear Creek Loop trailhead. The loop can be hiked in either direction, with the waterfall approximately 0.8 miles from the trailhead.
